Fresno State Hosts No. 16/15 SDSU to Begin MW Era
Fresno State (6-7, 0-0 MW) hosts San Diego State (12-2, 0-0 MW) on Wednesday night at 8:30 p.m. PT inside the Save Mart Center. Tickets start at $9 for youth and $17 for adults, or can be secured through purchasing Fresno State's Mountain West Debut Mini-Plan. The game, sponsored by Table Mountain, has been designated as a RED OUT, as all fans are asked to wear red and the first 1,000+ fans will receive a free red t-shirt. The team will also wear their red uniforms for the first time at the Save Mart Center.
'Dogs Defend Ground in Golden State Under Terry

The San Diego State Aztecs enters league play with a 12-2 record. The Aztecs own non-conference wins over then No. 24 UCLA and USC, with their lone losses to Top 10 opponents, Syracuse and Arizona. Fresno State was projected to finish seventh out of nine Mountain West schools, as selected by a voting panel comprised of Conference media, during preseason voting. Defending MW co-regular season champion San Diego State edged UNLV as the Conference media's preseason favorite to win the MW men's basketball regular-season title in 2012-13.

The men's quarterfinals will be held on Wednesday, March 13, followed by the women's quarterfinals on Thursday, March 14. Semifinal action will take place on Friday, March 15, with the men's and women's championship games set for Saturday, March 16. The men's final will be televised on CBS for the first time in Mountain West history. The men's championship game tips off on Saturday, March 16 at 3:05 p.m. PT, followed by the women's final, which will air on CBS Sports Network, beginning at 7:05 p.m. PT.
