With the 2013 Mountain West Tournament less than a month away, the Bulldogs' final five games of the season will be crucial for seeding as the No. 8 and 9 seeds open on Tuesday, March 12, while the top seven seeds begin Quarterfinal action on Wednesday, March 13. The MW tournament champion will earn the league's automatic NCAA Tournament bid.

Through the first 10 games of Mountain West play, Nevada is a half game back of seventh, but even with Wyoming in the loss column (7). Nevada is 1.5 games ahead of Fresno State. Both Malik Story and Deonte Burton are averaging 16.2 points per game and over two assists per game.

#BulldogMBB Comes Up Short Twice Last Week
Fresno State nearly beat its first ranked opponent in 11 years, but a late New Mexico surge propelled the No. 19/18 Lobos to a 54-48 win at the Save Mart Center. Kevin Olekaibe led the 'Dogs with 11 points and Kevin Foster posted a double-double. Three days later, the Bulldogs let an 14-point advantage turn into a 55-51 overtime loss at Wyoming.

Bulldogs Stun UNLV 64-55 for Big MW Win
Playing against his hometown school, Kevin Olekaibe scored a season-high 21 points to lead the Fresno State men's basketball team to a 64-55 win over UNLV on Feb. 6 at the Save Mart Center. The 55 points were the Rebels' lowest offensive output of the season. A week after hitting six of eight triples at AFA, Olekaibe made four of his seven 3-point attempts.
