* For the second consecutive season, San Diego State forward Tim Shelton has written and performed a song about the Aztec basketball team. A 45-second version of the 3:10 song will played as the intro video prior to the announcement of the San Diego State starting lineup. This year's song, entitled "Aztec Motto", will be played for the seventh consecutive home game today.
* San Diego State postgame interviews will take place on the mezzanine level room of Viejas Arena (credential required). Colorado State postgame interviews will take place outside its locker room in the North Corridor. Quotes will be provided from both postgame media gatherings.

Senior Starters
* Per Steve Fisher's tradition, San Diego State seniors Garrett Green and Tim Shelton are both expected to start their final home game at Viejas Arena.
* Green will be making his 17th start of the season and the 34th of his career.
* Shelton is making his 12th consecutive start, the 24th start of the season and the 42nd of his career.
* The projected line-up is Xavier Thames, Chase Tapley, Jamaal Franklin, Green and Shelton. This would be the eighth different starting lineup utilized by Steve Fisher this season and would mark the fourth straight game that SDSU will use a different lineup than the game before.
