UNLV To Face Colorado Thursday Night In Albuquerque

LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) -

For the fifth time in six years, the No. 23/25 UNLV men's basketball team (26-8) is playing in the NCAA Tournament and is the No. 6 seed in the South Region this year after earning an at-large bid to the Big Dance for the third straight year.

The Runnin' Rebels, who advanced to the semifinals of the Mountain West Tournament (played in Las Vegas at the Thomas & Mack Center) last week, will open their 19th all-time NCAA Tournament on Thursday, March 15, against No. 11-seeded Colorado (23-11).

The game is scheduled to begin at approximately 7:57 p.m. MDT/6:57 p.m. PDT (30 minutes after the conclusion of the Baylor-South Dakota State game) and will be televised on truTV with Spero Dedes, Bob Wenzel and Jaime Maggio calling the action.

The Runnin' Rebel radio call will be handled by Jon Sandler and Robert Smith on ESPN Radio 1100 AM/98.9 FM in Las Vegas, while the national Dial Global/NCAA Radio Network broadcast will be called by Dave Sims and Michael Cage. The game will also be available via video streaming, audio streaming and Gametracker through links at UNLVRebels.com.
