Rams announce official watch parties across the nation
March 13, 2012
FORT COLLINS, Colo. – CSU fans unable to travel to Louisville, Ky., to catch the Rams’ initial NCAA tournament contest are invited to several official watch parties – one in Fort Collins and others across the state and the nation – the university announced Tuesday. Admission to the parties is free.
The Rams tip off the first full day of tournament action, a 16-game slate, with a 10:15 a.m. MDT clash with Murray State (30-1) Thursday.
First, fans in Fort Collins can come to Moby Arena to watch the contest from the Rams’ home venue, on the $1 million video board. CSU will lower the board so fans are able to see the game more comfortably.
This free event is open to all fans and friends who want to watch the game on the big screen. Fans may park free in the Moby Arena parking lot beginning at 9:30 a.m. and can enter the arena from the north concourse beginning at 9:45 a.m. The game tips off at 10:15 a.m. Fans also will be able to place a deposit on seats for the 2012-13 men’s basketball season to guarantee tickets for next season.
For fans in Louisville, a Ram Rally will take place on Wednesday evening at 7 p.m. EDT and Thursday morning at 10 a.m. EDT at the Bluegrass Brewing Co. The restaurant is located directly across the street from the KFC YUM! Center. Players and coaches will be in attendance Wednesday night.
