KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Seniors Colton Iverson and Pierce Hornung both added another postseason honor to end their illustrious careers at Colorado State on Tuesday as the National Association of Basketball Coaches announced its all-district teams.

Iverson, a native of Yankton, S.D., earned first-team all-district honors after finishing the year as one of the most dominant players in the Mountain West. This is his fourth individual accolade. The Rams center, a transfer from Minnesota, finished his lone season in Fort Collins averaging 14.2 points and 9.8 rebounds. He also finished the year ranking third all-time in single season rebounding (342) and eighth in single season field goal percentage (.596).

Hornung, a product of Arvada, Colo., was named second-team all-district after pulling down a career-high 293 rebounds, which ranks fifth for a single-season at CSU. He helped the Rams to become one of the top rebounding teams in the nation. This season Hornung became the Rams’ all-time leader in steals and ranked as the fourth leading offensive rebounder in the NCAA. The 6-foot-5 forward finished the year averaging 8.4 points and 8.9 boards per game.

These two seniors helped the Rams win a school record 26 games in 2012-13 and advance to the Round of 32 in the NCAA tournament for the first time since 1989.
