FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Colorado State men’s basketball head coach Larry Eustachy announced Tuesday the addition of talented Canadian prep Joe DeCiman to the Colorado State roster for the 2012-13 season.

“We are very excited to announce the signing of Joe,” said Eustachy.  “He is a talented player with great length and athleticism, and incredible upside.  More importantly, he is a great kid and an excellent student.  Joe will be a valuable addition, not only to our program, but to Colorado State.”

DeCiman, a 6-4 product out of LeBoldus High School in Regina, Saskatchewan, posted impressive numbers as a senior in 2011-12, averaging 30.2 points, 12.5 rebounds, 5.7 assists and 3.5 blocks per game.

A three-time first-team all-city performer and a two-year member Canada’s National Cadet team, DeCiman earned first-team all-star honors at the 2010 U17 Boys National Championships, and recently participated in trials for Canada’s U18 Junior National team.
