Fresno State (2-1) heads to the Central California coast for a Monday night contest at 7 p.m. PT inside Cal Poly's Mott Gym versus the Mustangs. The game can be heard live on KMJ 580 AM or at www.gobulldogs.com (subscription). The matchup will also be streamed at bigwest.tv (video feed).

'Dogs Defend Ground in Golden State Under Terry
For the second straight season, Fresno State is playing 19 of its regular season games in the state of California. Under Coach Terry, Fresno State is 14-7 when playing in the Golden State, including a 4-2 record away from the Save Mart Center and a 4-1 record against Big West opponents.

Bulldogs Begin Mountain West Era
Fresno State is in its first season as a member of the Mountain West, which produced four NCAA Tournament teams last year. The MW features two teams ranked in the most recent AP and USA Today/ESPN Coaches polls (No. 18/18 UNLV and No. 25/23 San Diego State) as well as two schools receiving votes in the national polls (New Mexico and Colorado State). The MW ranked as the best in the West and fifth-best in the nation for the 2011-12 season, according to the NCAA Ratings Performance Index. This season, the Mountain West is 18-3 in non-conference contests through games played on Nov. 16.

About the Cal Poly Mustangs
The Cal Poly Mustangs are 1-1 on the season after a home game versus Northern Colorado (64-53) and losing at TCU (53-46). The Mustangs are led by Chris Eversley (14.5 ppg/7.0 rpg) and Brian Bennett (9.0 ppg/9.0 rpg). Head coach Joe Callero is in his fourth season with the Mustangs and owns a 46-50 overall record at Cal Poly (185-180 career coaching record).

Against the Cal Poly Mustangs (Fresno State leads 28-7*)
The Bulldogs have won 12 of the past 13 games with the Mustangs - the lone loss coming last year when Cal Poly beat Fresno State 65-46 at the Save Mart Center. In their last time visit to Mott Gym, the 'Dogs won a 90-87 overtime thriller. Fresno State is 11-5 on the road versus Cal Poly.

Bulldogs Tame Tigers 66-61 in Home Opener
Kevin Foster posted his fourth career double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds to lead four Bulldogs in double figures and lifted Fresno State past Pacific 66-61.With the win, the `Dogs improved to 10-0 all-time in home openers at the Save Mart Center.

Nearly Hooked! No. 24 Texas Edges Bulldogs, 55-53
Down in the heart of Texas, Fresno State gave the 24th-ranked Longhorns nearly all they could handle before falling 55-53 in the closing seconds of a hard-fought season opener at the Erwin Center. The 'Dogs were led by freshman guard Marvelle Harris, who tallied a team-high 11 points.

'Dogs D Comes Up Big in 39-30 Win
Fresno State survived a trip to the Inland Empire by beating UC Riverside 39-30. Allen Huddleston led the 'Dogs with a game-best 17 points.

Terry Turns Up the Pressure, Exploits Takeaways
The relentless defensive pressure that Terry expects from his squad has held opponents to just 35.2 percent shooting (51-of-145) from the field and 13.3 percent 3-point shooting (6-of-45). Fresno State has also forced an average of 16 turnovers per game. In their season opener at then-No. 24 Texas, the Bulldogs turned 13 Texas turnovers into 16 points.

Valuing the Basketball
One of Rodney Terry's points of emphasis is the importance of valueing the basketball. Since Terry's arrival, Fresno State has not committed more turnovers than its opponents in 33 of 36 games, including 29 of those 36 games where the 'Dogs made fewer turnovers than its opponents.

Olekaibe Continues to Climb Record Books
Junior Kevin Olekaibe currently ranks tied for 37th on Fresno State's all-time scoring list with 942 career points in 65 games. He also ranks eighth in 3-point field goal attempts (454) and tenth in 3-point field goals made (148). Olekaibe owns the seventh-best career free throw clip (78.4%).
