No. 18 Runnin' Rebels Host Oregon Friday

After opening the regular season on Nov. 12 with a 92-54 win over Northern Arizona and Nov. 17 with a 77-58 win against Jacksonville State - both at home in the preliminary rounds of the eight-team Global Sports Classic, the Thomas & Mack Center is set to host the entire field on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 23-24. Four games will be played each day beginning at 10 a.m. on Friday and 11 a.m. on Saturday (the full schedule may be viewed here:

The No. 18 UNLV men's basketball team's semifinal matchup is scheduled for Friday at 6 p.m., against Oregon, while No. 22/20 Cincinnati will play Iowa State at 3:30 p.m. Both of those games will be televised live on CBS Sports Network with James Bates, Steve Lappas and Doug Gottlieb calling the action. Jon Sandler and Robert Smith will handle the UNLV radio call, which may be heard live in Las Vegas on ESPN Radio 1100 AM/98.9 FM and online at through the subscription-based All-Access feature.

The winners of Friday's semifinal games will face off in the championship, which is scheduled for Saturday at 7:30 p.m., televised live on CBS Sports Network. The two losing teams from Friday will play at 5 p.m. on Saturday (that game will not be televised).
