Dec. 12, 2012

LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) -

The No. 20/17 UNLV men's basketball team, winner of five straight games including its first two road contests of the year, will continue play away from the Thomas & Mack Center and host La Verne at the Orleans Arena (capacity 7,471) on Thursday, Dec. 13, at 7 p.m.

The game will be televised on Vegas TV (KTUD-TV) through a partnership with UNLV-TV, a media unit of the Hank Greenspun School of Journalism & Media Studies. David Briggs and Ray Brewer will calling the action on the TV broadcast, while Jon Sandler and Robert Smith will handle the UNLV radio call, which may be heard live in Las Vegas on ESPN Radio 1100 AM/98.9 FM and online at UNLVRebels.com through the subscription-based All-Access feature. The television broadcast will also be streamed live through the website.

The game will be played at the Orleans Arena because the Thomas & Mack Center is currently hosting the National Finals Rodeo. Tickets for the game are just $10 if purchased in advance. All tickets for this game are only available through the Orleans, not through UNLVtickets.com.

UNLV hasn't played La Verne in 47 years.
