No. 18/15 San Diego State Closes Out Its Four-Game Homestand on Tuesday Night When Point Loma Nazarene Visits Viejas Arena

San Diego State will put the finishing touches on a season-long four-game homestand on Tuesday night when Point Loma Nazarene heads east on Interstate 8.

Game time is set for 7 p.m. PT and the contest will be broadcast by FOX Sports San Diego. The non-conference tilt can also be heard on radio on AM 600 KOGO and 101 KGB.

The Aztecs are looking to extend several significant winning streaks, including an eight-game overall win streak (T-10th-longest active win streak nationally), a 28-game win streak vs. teams from California (longest active win streak in the nation) and a 21-game December win streak (third-longest nationally).

SDSU won for the eighth-straight time on Saturday night when it used a 12-0 first-half run to pull away and ultimately put away cross-town foe, USD, for the seventh-consecutive year. The Aztecs shot 52.0 percent from the field, while limiting the Toreros to 38.3-percent accuracy for the game. Chase Tapley led SDSU with 15 points and knocked down two three-pointers during the Aztecs' aforementioned 12-0 burst. Jamaal Franklin added 14 points and eight boards, and DeShawn Stephens chipped in 11 points and six rebounds. At the final horn, all nine players who saw action scored at least three points.

Tuesday's game will mark the long-awaited debut of redshirt sophomore James Johnson. A 6-9, 235-pound force inside, Johnson will see his first game action since Dec. 13, 2011, after transferring to SDSU from Virginia last December.
