Mountain West Names Men's Basketball Player of the Week

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Boise State sophomore guard/forward Anthony Drmic has been named the Mountain West Men's Basketball Player of the Week for games through December 16. This is Drmic's first career MW weekly accolade.

Drmic registered his first 30-point performance at the collegiate level, scoring a career-high 34 points in last Friday's 89-70 victory over previously-unbeaten LSU. The Endeavor Hills, Victoria, Australia, native went 12-of-18 (.667) from the field, including 6-of-10 (.600) from 3-point range to tie a career-best for made 3-pointers. He also added three rebounds, one blocked shot and one steal, and converted 4-of-8 free throw attempts against the Tigers.
