Wyoming tried a fake punt at 10:09 when they were on the Bulldog 47-yard line, but Malique Micenheimer tackled UW punter Tim Gleeson for just one yard to turn the ball over to Fresno State on downs.
Rashad Evans caught his fourth touchdown of the season at 8:20 to give Fresno State a 7-0 lead. It marks the sixth time in eight games that the Bulldogs were the first team to score.
Tyeler Davison stopped Wyoming quarterback Jason Thompson for a one yard gain on a fourth-and-two to give Fresno State the ball on downs at its own 25-yard line.
Rashad Evans returned a punt 78-yards for a touchdown at 3:51. It was his second career punt return for a touchdown. His play ties the Mountain West record for the longest punt return by a senior.
Victor Dean caught his first touchdown pass of the season, a 19-yard scoring play at 1:33. It was the third of his career and his longest TD.
Donovan Lewis sacked Brad Smith at the Cowboy seven-yard line to put UW in a third-and-17. It was the first sack of the game and Lewis' second of the season.
Fresno State held Wyoming to 63 total yards and negative two yards rushing in the first quarter. The Cowboys were 0-for-5 on first downs in the first half.
Isaiah Burse scored his second career rushing touchdown at 14:32 on a 14-yard reverse.
Phillip Thomas forced his third fumble of the season on a third down around the 12-minute mark. Wyoming recovered, but it moved UW to 0-for-8 on third-down tries.
Derek Carr hit Davante Adams on a 11-yard touchdown pass right before the half to give Fresno State a 35-0 lead. It was Carr's third TD pass of the game and 48th of his career, which moves him ahead of Tom Brandstater for the seventh-most in school history.
Davante Adams' touchdown reception was his seventh of the season and was his third-straight game with a TD.
Fresno State held Wyoming to 13 yards rushing on 14 carries in the first half.
Wyoming had 11 yards of offense in the second quarter and were 0-for-10 on third downs in the first half.
Robbie Rouse's 16-yard run at 10:45 pushed him over 4,000 yards rushing in his career. He becomes the first Bulldog to ever eclipse 4,000 yards rushing.
Victor Dean's seven-yard reception at 7:31 was his eighth of the game, setting a new career-high for the sophomore.
Davante Adams caught his 10th pass of the game at 5:42. This is the second time this season he has had two games with 10 or more catches and he becomes the second Bulldog to ever catch 10 or more passes in two different games in the same season.
Wyoming converted its first third down of the game around the four-minute mark of the third quarter. It came on their 12th try.
Sean Alston intercepted a pass at 13:54 and returned it 53 yards. It was Alston's second pick of the season and gave the Bulldogs an interception in six-straight games.
Phillip Thomas intercepted his seventh pass of the season and returned it 20 yards for a touchdown. His seven picks tie the Mountain West record for most passes intercepted in a season.
Thomas has now returned three interceptions for touchdowns this year, which sets a new school record and ties the Mountain West record.
It was also Fresno State's fifth interception returned for a touchdown this season, which sets a new school record.
