Pre-Game Notes
• Fresno State captains: 4, 8, 16, 32, 34
• Fresno State won the toss, deferred to the second half. Bulldogs to defend the South goal.

1st Quarter
• UNM scored on its first drive of the game, which was just the second time all year the Bulldogs allowed points on the opponent's first drive of a game. No. 4 Oregon was the other team to score on their first possession.
• Derron Smith forced a fumble at 9:13 and L.J. Jones recovered it at the Bulldog 21-yard line. It was the 22nd turnover the Bulldogs have forced this year.
• After starting the game 0-for-3 on third downs, Derek Carr hit Davante Adams for an 11-yard gain on a third-and-2 at 2:11 to give Fresno State its first third-down conversion.

2nd Quarter
• Fresno State drove 77 yards in a minute and 22 seconds to score its first touchdown of the game at 7:26. Carr hit Victor Dean on a seven-yard touchdown pass. Carr was 5-for-5 passing on the drive for all 77 yards.
• Davante Adams' seven-yard touchdown reception at 0:31 was his eighth of the season and his fourth-straight game with a TD catch. His eight touchdowns set a new record for a freshman at Fresno State.
• Carr's TD pass to Adams was the 50th of his career, which ties him with Mark Barsotti for the sixth-most in school history.
• Tyeler Davison had five tackles and one tackle for a loss in the first half to lead the Bulldogs.
• Fresno State was outgained 295-247 by the Lobos in the first half. UNM ran for 268 yards on 27 carries, with Kasey Carrier racking up 116 yards on the 'Dogs.

3rd Quarter
• Davante Adams caught a 35-yard pass on the first play of the second half. It was his eighth reception of the game for 109 yards, giving him his third 100-yard receiving game of the season.
• Marcel Jensen caught his first touchdown pass of the season and second of his career at 9:46. It was a 21-yard score that brought Fresno State within three, 24-21.
• Carr's TD to Jensen was his third of the game and he now has thrown three or more TDs in 5-of-9 games this season. It is his ninth career game with three or more touchdown passes.
• Davante Adams caught an 89-yard touchdown pass at 7:21 to give the Bulldogs a 28-24 lead. It was the sixth-longest reception in Mountain West history.
• This is Adams' third game this year with two TD catches.
• Ben Letcher had a three-yard tackle for a lost at 6:19. It was his second tackle for a loss this season.
• Robbie Rouse scored his ninth rushing touchdown of the season at 1:35. It was the 34th of his career, which is the third most in school history.
• Phillip Thomas recorded his third sack of the season at 0:05. It was Fresno State's first sack of the game.
• The 21 points the 'Dogs scored in the third quarter is the most points Fresno State has scored in a second half all season.

4th Quarter
• Robbie Rouse's 36-yard run at 12:00 pushed him over 100-yards rushing in the game. It is his 18th career 100-yard game, which ties Ron Rivers for the most in school history.
• Greg Watson scored on a three-yard touchdown run at 11:06 for his first career rushing touchdown.
• L.J. Jones intercepted his first pass of the season at 8:13. It was the fourth of his career and the 16th of the season for Fresno State.
• Michael Harris scored his first rushing TD of the season and third of his career at 6:06.
