Registration Now Available for Lobo Football Summer Camps

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- Lobo football camping season is fast approaching.
The University of New Mexico football program has announced its 2013 summer camp schedule. Second-year Bob Davie and his staff will conduct camps designed to provide instruction in the basic fundamentals of the game.
The Lobos will host two separate one-day mini-camps on June 8 and July 20. Each camp, for kids entering ninth through 12th grades, will take place from 12:30-4:15 p.m. The cost for each camp is $25 per individual, and each player in attendance will receive a T-shirt and dinner, along with instruction.
The Youth Camp, designed for kids entering the second through eighth grades, will take place June 10-11. The June 10 session runs from 7:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., and the June 11 session goes from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. The cost is $75 per child. Each participant will receive a T-shirt.
A 7-on-7 and Offensive Line/Defensive Line Camp will take place from June 14-15 for kids entering ninth through 12th grades. The first-day session is from 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m., and the second-day session runs from 9:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Separate signup sheets are available for teams and for individuals. The team rate, which can include up to 20 players, is $500. The cost for individuals is $75 per athlete. Each player will receive a T-shirt, and lunch will be provided both days.
All campers should bring workout gear and sunscreen. The camps are non-padded, non-contact, skills-teaching sessions. No overnight accommodations.
