CBS Sports Network to carry Sept. 7 game at Tulsa

May 7, 2013

FORT COLLINS, Colo.—The Colorado State football team has added another televised game to its 2013 schedule. Conference USA and Tulsa University announced today the Rams’ Sept. 7 game at Tulsa will kick off at 6 p.m. MT and be televised by CBS Sports Network (CBSSN).

It was announced late last month that an initial slate of five Colorado State Mountain West games in 2013 would air on CBSSN, and the Tulsa game now increases that number to six, with additional games yet to be assigned to either national, regional or local television rights.

The second year of Colorado State football under Head Coach Jim McElwain begins on Sunday, Sept. 1 at 4 p.m. MT. The annual rivalry game against Colorado, in addition to the five other contests, will be broadcast to a nationwide television audience on CBSSN.

Below is the list of six CSU games scheduled at this time for national television, on CBSSN:

  • Colorado at Colorado State (Sports Authority Field at Mile High) – Sept. 1, 4 p.m. MT
  • Colorado State at Tulsa – Sept. 7, 5 p.m. MT
  • UTEP at Colorado State – Sept. 28, 1:30 p.m. MT (Ag Day)
  • San Jose State at Colorado State – Oct. 12, 1:30 p.m. MT (Homecoming & Family Weekend)
  • Boise State at Colorado State – Nov. 2, 6 p.m. MT
  • Colorado State at Utah State – Nov. 23, 1:30 p.m. MT

Prices for CSU’s 2013 home slate largely remain the same, with the exception of some sideline and end zone sections decreasing by 13 percent from last year. Current season-ticket holders should have received renewal statements in the mail in April. Fans interested in purchasing new season tickets can visit or call 1-800-491-RAMS to place a deposit for priority seating. Season-ticket packages include CSU’s six home games played at Sonny Lubick Field at Hughes Stadium, plus the Rocky Mountain Showdown vs. Colorado, which will be played at Sports Authority Field at Mile High. Individual game tickets will go on sale at a later date.
