San Diego State's 2012 football season opener at Washington on Saturday, Sept. 1, is set for a 7:30 p.m. PT start. The game, which will be played at CenturyLink Field in Seattle, will be televised live by the Pac-12 Networks.

The Aztecs are now slated to play on national television six times in 2012. Television plans and game times for SDSU's remaining six games will be announced at a later date.

San Diego State returns 13 starters and 40 letterwinners off last season's 8-5 team that played in the R+L New Orleans Bowl. Among the returning student-athletes are two-time first-team all-conference cornerback Leon McFadden and first-team all-league tight end Gavin Escobar. The Aztecs join Stanford as the only programs in the state to advance to bowl games each of the past two seasons.
