June 17, 2013

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- College Football Performance Awards recently announced its 2013 CFPA Defensive Awards Watch List, and University of New Mexico senior Dallas Bollema earned a spot on the list.

"Congratulations to Dallas Bollema on earning a spot on the 2013 CFPA Defensive Awards Watch List," said CFPA Executive Director Brad Smith. "As a redshirt senior, Bollema will be one of the nation's top defensive players to watch in 2013."

A graduate of Artesia High School, Bollema led the Lobos with 89 tackles in 2012, and he also tied for the team lead with three interceptions. He also had two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and three pass breakups last season.

Bollema is UNM's active leading tackler with 196 for his career. He needs 63 tackles in 2013 to break into the school's top 20 career tackle leaders.

Bollema joins teammate Kasey Carrier on the 2013 CFPA Watch List.
