Rams in Las Vegas for MW's 14th annual media days

LAS VEGAS, Nev. – Head Coach Jim McElwain and juniors Shaquil Barrett and Chris Nwoke are Colorado State’s representatives at the Mountain West 14th annual football media days this week.

The Rams landed in Las Vegas on Monday morning in time for head coaches meeting with MW commissioner Craig Thompson and the rest of his conference staff. Representatives from across the conference, including players, sports information directors, and newspaper, television and radio journalists from every market, have convened at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.

Activities and dinners are also planned for Monday evening for the athletes and coaches.

Following media day events: On Tuesday the Rams will be busy with interviews. They will be meeting with NBC Sports Network, CBS Sports Network, TheMWC.com, and sportswriters and television reporters from around the conference. Podium sessions for each of the participating MW teams will begin on Tuesday afternoon. These podium sessions will be streamed live on TheMWC.com and CSU fans can tune it at 5 p.m. MT to listen to McElwain and the two student athletes.
