Boise State Debuts at No. 22 in Preseason <em>USA Today</em>/Coaches' Top 25

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Boise State will enter the 2012 college football season ranked No. 22 in the preseason USA Today/Coaches' Top 25.  This is the seventh straight year that a Mountain West team has appeared in the preseason Coaches' poll.

The Broncos own the nation's second-longest streak of 62 consecutive weeks ranked in the top 25 of the Coaches' poll, trailing Alabama by three weeks. BSU has also opened the season ranked in the Coaches' poll four consecutive seasons, starting at No. 16 2009 and beginning the 2010 (No. 5) and 2011 (No. 7) seasons in the top 10.

The 14th season of Mountain West football kicks off on Thursday, Aug. 30, as UNLV entertains Minnesota in the Rebels' home opener. Boise State travels to No. 13 Michigan State on Friday, Aug. 31, while the Conference's other eight teams open action on Saturday, Sept. 1.
