Rebel Football: What Every Fan Should Know

LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - Kickoff Thursday on Aug. 30 is almost here when your Rebels match up against Minnesota out of the Big 10 at 8 p.m. PT at Sam Boyd Stadium. It will be the first game of the Rebel Football Front Four, which features four home games in four weeks to start the season.

In addition to the young talent beginning to shine for coach Bobby Hauck and his staff, there are many reasons for Rebel fans to be excited for the upcoming season.

Here is information every UNLV fan should know:

"Meet the Rebels" Photo & Autograph Event Saturday, Aug. 25 at 7 p.m.

Fans are invited to come take pictures with players and coaches as well as get autographs following UNLV's closed walkthru on Saturday, Aug. 25 at Rebel Park (on the UNLV campus located near Swenson and Harmon). The photo and autograph session will start at 7 p.m. and will last approximately 30 minutes. The event is free to fans of all ages. Bring your cameras and come wish the guys luck as they prepare to open the season vs. Minnesota the following Thursday. (Sorry, fans will not be admitted to the closed walkthru prior to the "Meet the Rebels" event.)

Single Game Tickets Start at $19

Three Day Games at Home

UNLV will close its home schedule with three Saturday day games - Oct. 13 vs. Nevada, Reno at noon; Nov. 3 vs. New Mexico (Homecoming) at 1 p.m.; and Nov. 17 vs. Wyoming at 1 p.m. Is there any weather better than Las Vegas in the fall? Spend it at the stadium with the Rebels.

Get in the game! The first 5,000 fans at UNLV's opening game vs. Minnesota on Thursday, Aug. 30 will receive free UNLV Eye Black Strips. Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. and tickets start at just $19.

Friends & Family Night - Saturday, Sept. 8 vs. Northern Arizona

Last season was such a success for fans, we're bringing it back! Two-for-One tickets are available for Friends & Family Night on Saturday, Sept. 8 when UNLV takes on Northern Arizona at 7 p.m. Join us for a free pregame Kids' Festival with games and giveaways and then get autographs from Rebel players on the field after the game.

Fireworks Friday - Friday, Sept. 14 vs. Washington State

Join us for a postgame fireworks show on Friday, Sept. 14 as UNLV takes on Washington State from the Pac-12 at 6 p.m. Tickets start at just $19.

Conference Kickoff - Saturday, Sept. 22 vs. Air Force

Starting Aug. 29, join us for an early lunch at Born And Raised on Wednesdays (11 a.m. to noon) during the season for the Bobby Hauck Radio Show, which will air live each week on ESPN Radio 1100 AM, the flagship station for UNLV Rebel Football. UNLV Rebel Kids Club Members Get Free Tickets to UNLV Football
