Broncos Ranked No. 24 in AP Preseason Poll

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - For the fourth straight season, the Boise State football team is ranked in the Associated Press preseason top 25, coming in at No. 24.  The Broncos received 212 points in this year's preseason poll to mark the seventh straight year that a Mountain West team has appeared in the preseason AP rankings.

Earlier this month, Boise State was voted 22nd in the preseason USA Today/Coaches' poll. BSU has opened the season ranked in both the Coaches' and AP polls four consecutive seasons.The Broncos own the nation's second-longest streak of 62 consecutive weeks ranked in the top 25 of both the Coaches' and AP polls, trailing Alabama by three weeks.

The 14th season of Mountain West football kicks off on Thursday, Aug. 30, as UNLV entertains Minnesota in the Rebels' home opener. Boise State travels to No. 13 Michigan State on Friday, Aug. 31, while the Conference's other eight teams open action on Saturday, Sept. 1.
