FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno State football team had 12 players selected to Phil Steele's 2012 Midseason All-Mountain West teams that were released on Friday.

A total of five Bulldogs graced the first-team. On offense, junior quarterback Derek Carr and redshirt freshman Davante Adams were both named to Steele's first team. Defensively, safety Phillip Thomas, outside linebacker Tristan Okpalaugo and defensive lineman Andy Jennings received first-team nods.

Thomas was named by Steele on Wednesday as a midseason second-team All-American. He leads the nation in interceptions with six.

Senior running back Robbie Rouse, receivers Josh Harper and Isaiah Burse and offensive tackle Austin Wentworth all made the second-team list on offense. Cornerback L.J. Jones was a second-team selection on defense.

On the third team, inside linebacker Travis Brown and safety Derron Smith round out Fresno State's midseason all-conference selections.

Fresno State travels to No. 24/22 Boise State this weekend for a 12:30 p.m. game being televised by the NBC Sports Network.
