Following the most dominating two-game performance against FBS competition since the 1999 season, San Diego State (4-3; 2-1 MW) travels to Reno, Nev., to face a Nevada squad (6-1; 3-0 MW) that has won 19 of its last 21 games. Game time at Mackay Stadium is set for 7:30 p.m. PT and the contest will be shown nationally on the CBS Sports Network with radio coverage provided by KOGO 95.7 FM & AM 600.

Last Saturday, San Diego State recorded its second consecutive lopsided victory, defeating Colorado State, 38-14. The Aztecs never trailed in the contest, limiting the Rams to 335 yards of total offense and forced three turnovers on the afternoon. Sophomore linebacker Jake Fely earned conference defensive player of the week honors by posting career-highs in tackles (13), tackles for loss (3.5) and quarterback sacks (2). Sophomore Derek Largent continued his stellar play with a pair of interceptions in the game for the Aztecs.

Offensively, SDSU once again showed great balance, rushing for 218 yards and passing for 181 yards. Sophomore Adam Muema rushed for 105 yards and two touchdowns. It was his fourth career 100-yard rushing game and he now has a rushing touchdown in eight consecutive games. Senior quarterback Ryan Katz, who leads the league in passing efficiency, was 16-of-22 for 181 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions. It was the fifth time in the last six games that he has not thrown a pick.

Saturday's game features two of three teams that are still in control of their own destiny to win the Mountain West championship. At 3-0, the Wolf Pack are on top of the league standings, one-half game ahead of Boise State (2-0). The Aztecs are a game back at 2-1, tied with Fresno State and Air Force. Of the three 2-1 teams, only San Diego State has both Nevada and Boise State remaining on the schedule.

Next week, the Aztecs return home to face another team from the Silver State, UNLV. Kickoff for the game with the Rebels is set for 5 p.m. PT at Qualcomm Stadium.
