Means named a CFPA Performer of the week

Air Force linebacker Alex Means was named College Football Performance Awards Defensive Linebacker of the week for his performance against New Mexico. Means earned the honors along with Luke Batton of Kent State.
Means racked up 10 tackles, a sack and 1.5 tackles for loss in Air Force's 28-23 win over New Mexico. More importanly, Means had a 65-yard interception return for a touchdown that swung the momentum in the game.
The senior from Mankato, Minn., ranks sixth in the Mountain West with 7.9 tackles per game. Means leads the Falcons with 6.5 tackles for loss, six pass breakups and two interceptions. He is second on the team with 55 tackles.
