Nevada in Ninth After the Second Round of the Mountain West Championship

TUSCON, Ariz. – The Nevada men’s golf team is in Ninth place after the second round of the Mountain West Championship.
Nevada rebounded from a slow start on Friday and carded a 17-over 301 and is three shots behind Boise state heading into the final round.
Junior Ryan Mulvany is tied for 29th with a 8-over 150 after shooting a two-over 73 in the second round. Freshman Kit Carson is tied for 37th after shooting a four-over 75 and is at an 11-over 153 for heading into the final round.
Sophomore Taylor Knoll is in 39th after shooting a four-over 75 in the second round. Sophomore Gustavo Chuang is tied for 40th and junior Brian Knoll is in 43rd.
New Mexico and San Diego State are tied for first place with a five-under 563 for the tournament. New Mexico's Gavin Green is leading the individual Race with a three-under 139 for the tournament.
The final 18-hole round will start on Sunday.
