"I feel a tremendous amount of hope for this weekend," Wyoming Director of Golf Joe Jensen said. "The guys have improved every event so far this spring. We had three pretty good rounds last weekend and I feel like we are getting there. There are still things we need to work on before we tee off on Friday, but I like the direction we are headed. If we go out and perform like I know we are capable of we are going to have a very competitive conference championship."
Leading the Cowboys is senior Clinton Boutelle who returns after a top-15 finish at the 2012 MW Championships after shooting a three-over 216. Boutelle leads the Pokes in scoring average carrying a 74 average over 14 rounds this spring season. He missed the fall season due to injury, but has returned with four rounds of par or better and one top-25 finish last weekend at the PING Cougar Classic.
