In singles action, the Wolf Pack picked up five singles victories, led by junior co-captain Victor Ouvrard, as he defeated Filip Dzanko in straight sets 6-4, 6-4 out of slot one. Echargui also picked up a singles victory out of the two slot, as he moved past Mathias Hambach 6-2. 7-5.

In slot six, Ryan Andrada picked up a victory over Adam Reinhart in straight sets 6-2, 6-4.
"We came out on fire in singles, we won the first set in four matches," Burton said. "Moez (Echargui) was in control of his match and held on for a tough win. Poustie gutted out and won a tough match in the third set after it went back and forth. It was a hard fought day, but we came out with the win and the team is looking forward to tomorrow."
