No. 25 Fresno State Downs Rebel Tennis

LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - The 63rd-ranked UNLV men's tennis team put up a good fight on the road against the nation's No. 25 team but ultimately fell 5-2 at Fresno State on Sunday at the Spalding G. Wathen Tennis Center.
The Rebels dropped to 3-8 overall while the red-hot Bulldogs improved to 8-1.
Fresno State started the day by winning two of three doubles matches for one point. UNLV did manage to take the top match when Brian Kenyon and Bernard Schoeman downed Remi Boutillier and Francis Alcantara 8-5.
The visitors won the first set on half of the six singles courts and two Rebels ultimately emerged with victories for their team's two points. Kenyon downed Jean-Charles Diame 6-2, 6-4 at the third position and Tamas Batyi defeated Zachary Leslie 7-5, 6-4 on court four.
Next up, UNLV plays an early Mountain West match by traveling to Air Force on Saturday
