The Lobos had a rough weekend away from home as they fell to 4-5 overall this season. UNM fell in two tough matches to #51 Arkansas and Oregon. Leading the Lobos in singles is senior Jadon Phillips with a dual record of 6-3 with three wins coming equally at the number two and four spot. He is currently on a five win streak. Following directly behind him is fellow senior Conor Berg who is 4-3 in dual play. He has two wins at both number one and three singles. Leading the Lobos in doubles is the partnership of sophomore James Hignett and freshman Riaan Du Toit. The pair are 5-2 in dual play and are 13-4 overall.


The Arizona Wildcats are now 5-1 overall after their first loss of the season to San Diego. The Cats return seven players from the 2011-12 season including the season's most winning player Kieren Thompson. The team also welcomes four new players to the roster, including junior transfer Fredrik Ask who boasts a perfect singles record so far this season and Thompson with his latest win over Uros Petronijevoc with a score of 7-6 (13-11), 6-3.
