Wilhelm is currently ranked 17th in the Mountain Region in singles.
The Falcons swept a pair of matches at home last weekend, defeating Portland State and Noerthern Arizona, each by a 6-1 score. Air Force won all six doubles matches and 10 of 12 singles contests during the weekend. Junior Lance Wilhelm and sophomore Andy Jackson, Alex Grubbs and Ali Rizvi each went 4-0 individually.
With the two victories, Air Force improved to 5-1 this season, the best start since the 2005 season. Individually, Wilhelm is 5-1 at the No.1 singles spot, while Grubbs and Rizvi each have the same recordc in singles. In Doubles, Jackson and Grubbs are 5-1 at the No. 2 spot and Rizvi and freshman Joey Brandt are 5-1 at No. 3.
