The Lobos traveled to Tucson, Ariz. and came back home with a 5-5 overall record, after defeating the Arizona Wildcats with a score of 4-3. The Lobos dropped the doubles point narrowly at number two and three doubles. UNM was not completely out of the match as they fought to regain some lost ground in singles. At the end of the match, it was all tied up at 3-3 with only number one singles left on the court. #116 in the nation Samir Iftikhar clinched the match with a three set win. Leading the Lobos in singles is Jadon Phillips with a dual match record of 7-3. Following behind him is Conor Berg with a record of 5-3. Top doubles team for the Lobos is the duo of James Hignett and Riaan Du Toit with a dual match record of 5-3.

#41 Northwestern:

The Northwestern Wildcats are now 11-3 overall with one match to be played before they arrive in New Mexico. The Wildcats will play #53 Denver on February 22nd. Leading the Wildcats in singles is Sidarth Balaji with a 11-1 dual match record at number three. He has won his past six matches so far. Following right behind him are Chris Jackman, Alex Pasareanu, and Raleigh Smith with nine wins in dual season singles. Two top doubles teams for Northwestern are the duo of Mihir Kumar and Alex Pasareanu and the partnership of Sidarth Balaji and Raleigh Smith.
