Men's Tennis Match Moved to Fairbanks Ranch C.C.
March 5, 2012
SAN DIEGO - The match between the No. 42 San Diego State men's tennis team and William & Mary that was originally scheduled to take place at the Aztec Tennis Center on Tuesday has been moved to Fairbanks Ranch Country Club. The non-conference tilt remains set for a 2 p.m. PT start.
The Aztecs (5-3) are coming off a week where they won the doubles point against No. 16 Fresno State, but were unable to continue the momentum in singles play as they dropped a close 4-3 decision to the Bulldogs.
The Tribe, meanwhile, are 8-9 on the season and recently tallied a 6-1 win over George Mason on Feb. 26.
San Diego State is 1-1 all-time against William & Mary and last faced them on March 13, 2005. SDSU earned a 4-0 win against then-No. 68 William & Mary at the Blue Gray National Tennis Classic in Montgomery, Ala.
After its match with the Tribe, the Aztecs will make the trip to Tucson, Ariz. to face New Mexico State on March 10.
