Junior Courtney Clements scored 22 points and junior Chelsea Hopkins had a double-double with 16 points and 10 assists to give the top-seeded San Diego State women's basketball team a 73-55 victory over No. 5 Wyoming Friday in a Mountain West Championships semifinal game in Las Vegas, Nev. With the win, the Aztecs (24-6) advanced to Saturday's title game, where they will play the winner of sixth-seeded Boise State and seventh-seeded New Mexico at 1 p.m. PT.

SDSU broke open a one-point game with a 34-17 run over the final 15 minutes, 37 seconds en route to the win. San Diego State also outscored the Cowgirls (12-17), 38-24, in the second half.

Clements, the Mountain West Player of the Year, was 9-for-15 from the floor, including 9-for-11 from inside the three-point arc, and 4-for-4 from the free-throw line. She added a team-high six rebounds in 30 minutes.

Hopkins had a solid all-around game with 16 points, 10 assists, four rebounds, three steals and a block. It was her fifth double-double of the season and third with points and assists.

Senior Kalena Tutt was perfect from the field (5-for-5) with 10 points. It was her second double-figure scoring game of the season and first since Nov. 26 against Washington.

Junior Malia Nahinu had six points and five rebounds, and tied her career high with five blocks, while Erimma Amarikwa had six points and five rebounds in just 12 minutes off the bench.
