SDSU Finishes First Round Of MW Play At Boise State

The San Diego State women's basketball team, which is receiving votes in the AP top-25 poll for the second consecutive week, completes the first round of 2012 league action when it make its first-ever trip to Boise State on Wednesday for a 7 p.m. MT/6 p.m. PT start time at Taco Bell Arena.

-SDSU Head Coach Beth Burns: Burns (Ohio Wesleyan, 1979) is in the seventh year of her second stint as head coach at San Diego State. She led the Aztecs for eight seasons from 1989 to 1997, before returning in 2005. She has an overall head coaching record of 340-241 in 20 seasons, while she is 259-176 in her 15 campaigns at SDSU.
-Boise State Head Coach Gordy Presnell: Presnell is in his seventh season at Boise State and currently owns a school record of 121-88 and a 25-year career head coaching mark of 517-215.
-Series History: San Diego State won the only all-time meeting between the two sides when the Aztecs edged the Broncos 54-51 on Dec. 20, 2005, in San Diego.
