Women's Hoops Starts Rd. 2 Of League Play Saturday At TCU

The San Diego State women's basketball team plays its second road game this week, as the Aztecs start the second round of Mountain West action Saturday at TCU. Tip time in scheduled for 2 p.m. CT/Noon PT at Daniel-Meyer Coliseum in Fort Worth.

-TV: The game will be televised live on CBS Sports Network with Brent Stover (play-by-play) and former Aztec Tammy Blackburn (analysis) calling the action.

-SDSU Head Coach Beth Burns: Burns (Ohio Wesleyan, 1979) is in the seventh year of her second stint as head coach at San Diego State. She led the Aztecs for eight seasons from 1989 to 1997, before returning in 2005. She has an overall head coaching record of 341-241 in 20 seasons, while she is 260-176 in her 15 campaigns at SDSU.
-TCU Head Coach Jeff Mittie: Mittie is in his 13th season at TCU and 20th overall as a head coach. He has a school record of 271-137 and career mark of 422-196.
-Series History: The Aztecs are looking for their first win at TCU and their first regular-season sweep of the Horned Frogs since they joined the MW. SDSU won last month's game 61-46, but still trail in the series (6-12).
