COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The second half of Mountain West women's basketball Conference action got underway on Saturday. TCU handed San Diego State its first MW loss of the season and ended its 13-game win streak with a 58-39 win in Fort Worth. Colorado State took sole possession of second place with a 77-39 win over Air Force, while Boise State escaped The Pit with a 68-64 win over New Mexico. Wyoming beat UNLV, 51-47 in overtime to move into a three-way tie for third place with the Lady Rebels and TCU.

Feb. 4, 2012 - Nicole Brady and Lauren Lenhardt combined for 35 points Saturday afternoon as Boise State held off New Mexico 68-64 in a Mountain West women's basketball game in Albuquerque. After the Broncos rolled off a 16-4 run to take a 15-point (63-48) lead with 4:17 left, they were forced to hold off a late Lobos 16-5 run to take home the four point road win. The victory snapped Boise State's five-game losing streak and put a little distance between the Broncos and Lobos in the standings as they improved to 12-11 overall and 3-5 in conference, while New Mexico goes to 7-15 and 1-7 in league. Cowgirl Basketball Pulls Out Overtime Thriller Against UNLV, 51-47
Feb. 4, 2012 - The Wyoming Cowgirl basketball team needed extra time but came away with the 51-47 victory over the UNLV Lady Rebels, on Saturday night in Las Vegas. They are now 9-12 overall and 5-3 in the Mountain West, while the Lady Rebels fall to 17-7 overall and 5-3 in league play. [READ MORE]
