Opening Tip
The top two teams in the Mountain West will battle for league supremacy on Saturday when the Fresno State women's basketball team hosts San Diego State at 5 p.m. in the Save Mart Center.

The CBS Sports Network is televising the game live with Rich Cellini and Tammy Blackburn calling the action.

Saturday is Pack the House day at the Save Mart Center. During last season's Pack the House event, Fresno State set a new single-game home attendance record at 7,689.

There will be a free T-shirt give away Saturday, fans can take their picture with the 2012 Mountain West trophy that was won by the Bulldog football team and it is also National Girls and Women in Sports Day, as Fresno State will recognize 22 honorees from the 1960's, '70's and '80's. Additionally, Fresno State's all-time leading scorer Jalessa Ross will be honored at the game.

Fresno State puts to test its 20-game home winning streak, which is the third-longest active home winning streak in the country. The Bulldogs are a perfect 9-0 at home this year and have outscored their opponents by an average of 16.6 points in the nine victories.

The Bulldogs also enter the game hot, riding a seasons-best five game winning streak. Fresno State has won eight out of its last nine games overall and has shot 46.2 percent from the field and 42.5 percent from 3-point range over this stretch.

Saturday's game also marks the second go-around in conference play. The Bulldogs won at SDSU back on Jan. 9 and will look to defend their home court when the Aztecs come to town. Sophomore Alex Sheedy scored a career-high 18 points in that win at SDSU back in January.
