#AztecWBB to Hold Two Play 4Kay Games This Week

Feb. 11, 2013

SAN DIEGO - The San Diego State women's basketball team will conduct two "Play 4Kay" games during their homestand this week at Viejas Arena. The Aztecs will square off against Colorado State on Wednesday, Feb. 13, beginning at 7 p.m. PT, followed by a clash with UNLV on Sunday, Feb. 17, which will be televised live on CBS Sports Network starting at 1 p.m. PT.

The 2013 Play 4Kay initiative, formerly known as WBCA Pink Zone, is an opportunity for a nation of coaches to raise breast cancer awareness and funds for research on the court, across campuses, in communities and beyond. Since its inception in 2007, the Play 4Kay initiative has raised over $2 million to support women's cancer research. Beth Burns served as an assistant coach under Yow at NC State from 1988-89.

As a special promotion this week, all fans wearing pink to either game will receive a general admission ticket for just $4. In addition, the first 250 fans in attendance on Sunday will receive a free Play 4Kay Aztec Basketball t-shirt.

Tickets can be purchased in advance online at www.goaztecs.com, over the phone by calling 619-283-7378, or by visiting the Aztec Ticket Office at Qualcomm Stadium's Window "E." The ticket office is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Donations will also be accepted on the arena concourse during the next two game days for the Kay Yow Cancer Fund or can be made online any time via www.Play4Kay.org.
