Mestdagh named MW Player of the Week

FORT COLLINS, Colo.--Senior Kim Mestdagh has been named the Mountain West Women's Basketball Player of the Week.

In the only game of the week for the Rams, Mestdagh scored 21 points to win 61-59 over TCU. The win secured second place in the MW standings and was Colorado State's first win over TCU in thirteen years.

Mestdagh is in fourth place in the all-time record book at CSU for career individual points at 1,616.

In addition to her team-high points, Mestdagh recorded a career-high eight assists, had four rebounds and two steals. She shot 47.1 percent from the field (8-17), including 38.5 percent from long distance (5-13).

It is the first weekly award of the season for Mestdagh and the fourth of her career.
