COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Fresno State and Wyoming escaped with one-point wins on Wednesday night in Mountain West women's basketball. The victories set up a key match-up on Saturday between the two teams who are tied for second place at 8-2. The Bulldogs got past New Mexico, 51-50, while the Cowgirls avoided Nevada, 66-65. In other action, first-place San Diego State improved to 9-1 in MW action with a 60-44 win over Colorado State and fourth-place UNLV (6-4) stopped Air Force, 80-53.
