- Play4Kay ... The WBCA began the Play4Kay program, formerly known as the PinkZone, in 2007 as an initiative to raise breast cancer awareness in women's basketball, on campuses and in communities. The late Kay Yow, former North Carolina State University head women's basketball coach, served as the catalyst for the initiative after her third reoccurrence of breast cancer in 2006. Boise State, Air Force and New Mexico wrap up the Play4Kay MW schedule this week. San Diego State recorded its highest home attendance of the season on Play4Kay day - 1,068.

- On the slate this week ... Air Force (5-21, 0-11) travels to TCU on Wednesday before hosting UNLV on Saturday. Junior Dymond James registered her fourth double-double of the year with 13 points and 10 rebounds against Wyoming on Feb. 15, while junior Katie Hilbig notched 10 points and 10 rebounds versus San Diego State on Feb. 18. The Falcons recorded a season-low 12 turnovers against Wyoming last week ... Boise State (13-13, 4-7) stays in the friendly confies of Taco Bell Arena this week with two home games, Wednesday vs. UNLV and Saturday vs. Wyoming. Wednesday night's game is the Broncos Play4Kay game ... Colorado State (12-14, 8-3) travels to New Mexico on Wednesday, before hosting San Diego State on Saturday, a potential 1 vs. 2 match-up. Senior Kelly Hartig was a rebound short of a double-double against Boise State on Feb. 14. Hartig had a career-high 20 points and nine rebounds ... New Mexico (8-17, 2-9) host Colorado State on Wednesday and TCU on Saturday in The Pit. Senior Porche Torrance is two blocked shots away from taking over second place on the UNM career blocked shots list. She has 143 going into the week ... San Diego State (20-5, 10-1) spends some time on the road this week, at Wyoming on Tuesday for a televised game on The Mtn. and at Colorado State on Saturday. Junior Courtney Clements reached the 1,000th point of her college career on her first basket of the second half against New Mexico on Feb. 15. That includes her freshman season total of 276 at Arizona. SDSU has recorded its third 20-win campaign in four season with Saturday's win over Air Force. The Aztecs have won each of their last three games by exactly 13 points and have 16 wins by 10 or more points this season ... TCU (13-13, 6-5) hosts Air Force on Wednesday before travelling to New Mexico on Saturday. The freshmen trio of Natalie Ventress, Chelsea Prince and Ashley Colbert accounted for 50 of TCU's 73 points against Boise State on Feb. 18. Ventress has scored 20 or more points in the second half in two consecutive games ... UNLV (19-8, 7-4) will be on the road this week. First at Boise State on Wednesday, then at Air Force on Saturday. UNLV's 19 wins is the most by the team since a 26-8 record in 2003-04. Senior Jamie Smith made her 119th career start on Feb. 18 vs. New Mexico and has played more minutes than any other Lady Rebel - 3,999 career minutes. She is 12 rebounds away from the UNLV career rebound record set by Linda Fröhlich of 1,124 ... Wyoming (11-13, 7-4) hosts San Diego State on Tuesday night on The Mtn. (DirecTV 616) before travelling to Boise State on Saturday. Mike Evans and Andrea Lloyd will call the action from Arena-Auditorium on Feb. 21 at 6 p.m. MT. The Cowgirls won the second game of the Border War with Colorado State in overtime on Feb. 18. It was the third overtime win for Wyoming this season (3-0). Freshman Kayla Woodward has now scored double figures in 10 of 11 Conference games this season. Junior Chaundra Sewell recorded her 10th double-double of the season against CSU with 20 points and 10 rebounds.
