#AztecWBB Looks to Continue Winning Ways at Nevada

SAN DIEGO- Winners of 11 in a row, the first-place San Diego State women's basketball team wraps up its two-game road swing on Saturday when it locks horns with Nevada in a Mountain West clash at Lawlor Events Center in Reno, Nev. Opening tip is slated for 4 p.m. PT.
The Aztecs are receiving votes in both the AP and USA Today coaches polls this week. SDSU has appeared in the coaches poll for three straight weeks and has cracked the last two AP polls.

-SDSU Head Coach Beth Burns: Burns (Ohio Wesleyan, 1979) is in the eighth year of her second stint as head coach at San Diego State. She led the Aztecs for eight seasons from 1989 to 1997, before returning in 2005. She has an overall head coaching record of 369-249 in 21 seasons, and she is 288-184 in her 16 campaigns at SDSU.
-Nevada Head Coach Jane Albright: Albright (Appalachian State, 1977) is in her fifth year at the helm of the Wolf Pack and sports a 71-81 record at the school and a 468-393 overall mark in her 29-year career. Prior to her appointment in Reno, Albright served as head coach at Northern Illinois (1984-94), Wisconsin (1994-2003) and Wichita State (2003-2008).
-Series History: The Aztecs hold a 4-3 lead in the all-time series, including a 69-57 triumph at Viejas Arena on Jan. 23, in the first meeting between the two schools as Mountain West rivals.
