Dates Announced For Jeff Mittie Summer Camps

FORT WORTH, Texas – Women’s basketball head coach Jeff Mittie will host three camps at TCU this summer for a variety of age groups and experience levels. The three camps will be offered during the months of June and July and are filling up fast.
The first camp of the summer is the Individual Camp to be held on June 18-20. Open to age groups entering grades fifth through ninth-grade, the individual camp costs $315 for commuters and $395 for overnight campers. A $100 non-refundable deposit is needed at registration. Overnight accommodations and meals are included in the cost.
The two-day Elite Camp will run June 20-21 and is open to only high school students entering grades nine through 12. The total cost for the Elite Camp is $115 and overnight accommodations and meals are included in the cost.
The final camp of the summer is the Day Camp on July 17-19. It is open to players entering fifth through ninth-grade and is designed to improve fundamental skills. The total cost for the three-day camp is $225 per kid.
All camp sessions will consist of skill development, including ball handling, shooting, rebounding and defense. Campers will also focus on team competition during the night sessions.
TCU has been one of the most successful women’s basketball programs in the entire country under Mittie as they have played in 11 postseason appearances in 12 years, while also going to nine NCAA Tournaments during that stretch. The Frogs have also collected six conference championships and will be a member of arguably the toughest women’s basketball conference in the entire country next season in the Big 12.
