Albuquerque, N.M. -- The 2012-2013 basketball season is fast approaching, and we are less than 100 days from another great season of Lobo basketball. While you are securing your tickets and upgrading your cherry and silver gear, don't forget about New Mexico Women's Basketball's 3 Point Club!

Contributions to the club will help the Lobos build the strong financial foundation needed to remain a successful program. Team goals include: leading the nation in attendance; winning the Mountain West Championship and pushing into the NCAA Championships seeking a national title.
3 Point Club members can have:
- Access to Pre-Game Coaches talks
- Lobo clothing
- Invitation to select practices
- Autographed team poster and basketball
- Preseason gathering to preview upcoming season and team
- Exclusive pre-game invites to team shoot-arounds, meals and talks
Last season was another record-breaking chapter in the history book of New Mexico women's basketball. The team became the first-ever seventh seed in the Mountain West Tournament to beat a second seeded team and to advance to the championship game of the tournament, The Lobos got great support from their fans as they finished tenth in the nation in attendance. That attendance was the highest among Mountain West teams and among all non-BCS conference schools. Six players were Mountain West Scholar-Athlete award recipients, which was twice as many as any other MWC team. Caroline Durbin also became the program's first-ever Capital One First-Team Academic All-American.
There are plenty of reasons to support the team, and the 3 Point Club gives fans even more reasons to get behind women's basketball at the University of New Mexico!
