The San Diego State women's basketball team unveiled its 2012-13 non-conference schedule today. The pre-Mountain West slate features 13 games, seven of which will take place inside Viejas Arena.

The reigning MW regular-season and tournament champions will first take the hardwood vs. Cal Lutheran in an exhibition set for Nov. 6, inside Viejas at 7 p.m. PT. Following the friendly, SDSU will help UCLA re-open Pauley Pavilion as the teams will officially open the campaign at 7 p.m. PT on Nov. 10.

Four days after the trip to the City of Angels, the Aztecs will return home for their home opener vs. UC Irvine. The Nov. 14 game is scheduled for a 7 p.m. PT tip and is a rematch of last year's game, which San Diego State won, 76-57, in Irvine.

The homestand continues on Nov. 18, when Cal State Dominguez Hills pays a visit to Montezuma Mesa. The Sunday matinee will start at 2 p.m. PT.

The Aztecs will hit the road for a second time the week before Thanksgiving as the schedule takes them to Boulder, Colo., for the 26th Annual Omni Hotels Classic, which features SDSU, Auburn, Colorado and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi. San Diego State and Auburn will tangle on Nov. 23 at 5 p.m. MT. The next day, the Aztecs will face Colorado, which advanced to the 2012 WNIT quarterfinals, or Texas A&M-Corpus Christi at either 5 p.m. or 7:30 p.m. MT.

USC is up next for SDSU as the Women of Troy head south to face the Aztecs inside Viejas Arena. The 7 p.m. PT game is set for Friday, Nov. 30, and marks the final home game before San Diego State embarks on a season-long three-game road trip.

The first stop will be in Seattle where SDSU will face Washington, a 2012 WNIT quarterfinalist, at 7 p.m. PT on Dec. 5. The Aztecs will look to repeat last year's performance when they came away with a 63-51 win on campus. On Saturday, Dec. 8, San Diego State will make the short ride west and play for the City Championship against USD (2012 WNIT semifinalist) inside Jenny Craig Pavilion (2 p.m. PT). The trip will conclude on Dec. 16, when the Aztecs meet Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo at 2 p.m. PT. SDSU will be in search of its ninth straight victory over the Mustangs that afternoon.

San Diego State closes out its non-conference portion of its schedule with four consecutive outings at home with the first coming on Dec. 19, vs. Fresno Pacific (5 p.m. PT). After taking more than a week off for finals, the Aztecs will return to action and play host to the San Diego Surf `N Slam beginning on Dec. 28. SDSU will open against SMU at 5 p.m. PT, before Harvard meets 2012 WNIT champion Oklahoma State in the nightcap at 7 p.m. PT. The tournament concludes on Dec. 30, with the consolation game set for noon PT and the title contest at 2 p.m. PT.

The fourth and final test before league opens is Savannah State. The Aztecs and Lady Tigers will step foot on the hardwood on Jan. 2, at 2 p.m. PT.

In other scheduling news, the Mountain West and its television partner, CBS Sports Network, settled on dates and times for three games during league action. San Diego State's game at Colorado State is set for Jan. 13, at 2 p.m. MT, while the Aztecs' road tilt at Fresno State has been confirmed for Feb. 9, at 5 p.m. PT. Lastly, SDSU's home game vs. UNLV will be contested on Feb. 17, at 1 p.m. PT. When the conference released the Aztecs' MW slate in early August, the aforementioned games did not have set dates and times.
