Wyoming Basketball Welcomes Regis In Final Exhibition

The Wyoming Cowgirl basketball team will play their second and final exhibition game to begin the week. They will host the Regis Rangers, on Monday, Nov. 5. The game is set for 7:00 p.m. in the Arena Auditorium. Live stats and audio can be found at www.gowyo.com.
The Cowgirls are 1-0 during the exhibition season after a 78-53 victory over the Dakota Wesleyan Tigers, on Monday night. Three Cowgirls finished the evening in double figures led by senior Chaundra Sewell. She recorded a double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds while shooting 6-9 from the field. Ashley Sickles and Kayla Woodward each chipped in 15 points in 25 minutes of play. Newcomer Fallon Lewis brought down six boards in her first action and Kaitlyn Mileto had a team high five assists. Wyoming shot 29-63 (.460) from the field and out rebounded the Tigers, 51-28.
Regis is 1-1 so far this exhibition season. They lost to Northern Colorado, 74-43, last night in Greeley. They welcome back four starters and 11 letterwinners that went 11-17 overall and 9-13 in the RMAC last season. The Cowgirls and the Rangers have never met during the regular season. They are coached by Linda Raunig who is in her 23rd season with the program.
