Colorado State freshman Taylor Varsho started her collegiate career with a double-double of 19 points and 10 rebounds against Montana State last week ... Fresno State head coach Raegan Pebley picked up her first win as a Bulldog on Monday, beating Cal Maritime, 82-43, at the Save Mart Center ... Nevada freshman Terilyn Moe led all Wolf Pack scorers with 20 points in her debut against Cal State Fullerton. She was 13-of-13 from the free throw line ... New Mexico junior Sara Halasz made her return to the court on Nov. 9 after waiting 961 days and working through two knee rehabs. She ended up with a team-high 13 points against Northern Arizona ... San Diego State continues to receive votes in the Associated Press Top 25 poll ... It took UNLV senior Kelli Thompson a while to post the first double-double of her collegiate career. Thompson recorded 18 points and 11 rebounds on Nov. 9 vs. UC Santa Barbara, the season-opener of her senior season ... Wyoming head coach Joe Legerski is two wins away from tying the Cowgirls' all-time record for victories. Legerski has 173 wins, just two behing Chad Lavin's 175 from 1987-1998.

    • Durbin named Senior CLASS Award Top 30 Candidate ... New Mexico senior Caroline Durbin has been named a candidate for the Senior CLASS award, one of 30 selected. The award is an acronym for Celebrating Loyalty and Achievement for Staying in School. It focuses on the total student-athlete experience and encourages students to use their platform in athletics to make a positive impact as leaders in their communities.

    • Injury Bug Has Hit ... Several key players in the Mountain West will be out for the season after suffering injuries in recent months. Boise State lost senior forward Kinzi Poteet and sophomore guard Keiahnna Engel to knee injuries, while UNLV senior guard Mia Bell continues to recover from off-season knee surgery.
