Mountain West Announces Women's Basketball Player of the Week - November 26, 2012

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - San Diego State guard Courtney Clements earned Mountain West Women's Basketball Player of the Week honors for games played from Nov. 19-25, 2012. It is the fourth MW weekly accolade of her career.

Clements, a senior from Long Beach, Calif., led the Aztecs to a 1-1 record and earned all-tournament honors in the Omni Hotels Classic in Boulder, Colo. In SDSU's 78-57 victory against Auburn, Clements was the game's high scorer with a season-best 26 points, including six three-pointers to go along with five boards, three steals and an assist. Against Colorado in the tournament championship, Clements was again the high scorer in the game with 19 points on a 9-of-17 (.529) effort from the floor in the 67-53 loss.

For the week, Clements averaged 22.5 points and 3.0 rebounds per game while shooting .475 (19-of-40) from the field, including 7-of-17 from three-point distance. She added an assist and five steals.
