Tournament Play Starts Wednesday

LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) -

The UNLV women's basketball team pays its first game in 11 days on Wednesday in the first round of the World Vision Classic, a six-team, three-day tournament co-hosted by UNLV and Basketball Travelers. The Lady Rebels will face off against Old Dominion in the third game of the first day, tipping off at 5:30 pm. In the first two games, Kansas State takes on No. 22 Texas A&M at 12:30 pm, while No. 5 Notre Dame and Alabama A&M play at 3 pm. The tournament continues with three games on Thursday before concluding with three more on Friday.

This is the fourth straight year and seventh in nine years UNLV has hosted a pre-Christmas tournament with BTI. Several teams are making repeat appearances, including Notre Dame (second appearance), Texas A&M (second) and Kansas State (fourth).
